The Koloa Heritage Trail or Ka Ala Hele Waiwai Hoolina o Koloa is a 10 mile self guided tour of the Koloa and Poipu area's important cultural, historical and geological sites. There are 14 stops on the trail.
The Moir Gardens were created by Sandie Moir in the 1930s while her husband was managing Hawaii's first sugar plantation, Koloa Plantation. The botanical gardens are made up of rare cactus, succulents and desert flora.
Moir Gardens is adjacent to Plantation Gardens Restaurant, in the Kiahuna Resort, Poipu, the south shore of Kaua'i.
