I LOVE LOVE LOVE Boudoir Photography. Mama Jen takes some time to enjoy being gorgeous and no doubt Daddy loved these too! These images were done to commemorate Jennifer's 30th birthday, finished in my Old School Black&White Process for a more dramatic and glamorous look.
With 2 small children at home it can be hard to find the time to focus on beauty and romance. Embracing a body that may no longer seem like yours after childbirth can also be a little challenging. But after a day at the salon and a glass of champagne it was "showtime" and Jen was ready to go!
One of the most rewarding thing for me doing this type of work is to see the reaction of the client: to see yourself in a beautiful lasting images that reflect your true sexy and sensual self emits such a strong emotion, more than just self esteem, it's self-love, self-appreciation. The images from these sessions last forever, an heirloom keepsake of a special time when you were feeling the love, so to speak!
